Grading:

    1. Two In-Class Exams (40%)

    2. Homework Assignments (10%)

    3.  Design Portfolio and Final Project (20%)

    4. Pop Quizzes (10%)

    5. Final Exam (20%)

Note:  The student is guaranteed the following 10-point grading scale:

    A 90 - 100

    B 80 - 89.99

    C 70 - 79.99

    D 60 - 69.99

    F < 60

However, the instructor reserves the privilege to use another scale (including the +/- system) provided the student would receive the same or a better grade under the new scale. 

No make up pop quizzes will be given under any circumstances since at least the lowest two pop quizzes will be dropped from the grade.  Make up exams will only be given in instances in which the student can provide documentation of extenuating circumstances such as serious illness or death in the immediate family.
