Assignments2/2/00: Read Winfree Article, and University of Memphis Articles. Be prepared to supply 5 questions about DNA computing. 2/7/00: Find a published article on cellular automata. Bring article to class with name on it to turn in. 3/6/00: Submit Project Proposal. Follow guidelines for Project Summary and Project Description here. 3/20 and 3/27: Edna teams meet with Professor. 3/22 and 3/29: Other class members meet with Professor. 4/3 and 4/5: Class meets as a whole. 5 minute updates on project status to rest of class. Prepare at most 5 overhead slides using Microsoft PowerPoint. 4/10 and 4/11: Open Week 4/17 and 4/19: Project Demonstrations and Presentations 4/24 and 4/26: Project Demonstrations and Presentations 5/3: Final Exam. Project reports/papers due at 5:30 pm. Each individual owes me a paper. Don't copy off your team members and make sure to include a statement of what your part of the group project was. |
